Posted before and posts indicated the reason my clutch would not disengage was probably the pilot bearing. Well, new pilot bearing, throw out bearing, clutch pressure plate and disk from IH. Guess what, still does not disengage. Just grinds gears. Pedal travel from deck about 1 inch. Throw out bearing cradle does not seem worn. Checked flywheel 1.406 inches from disk surface to where the pressure plate bolts to the flywheel. Can not figure out what the problem is. This is a late 1952 M with disk brakes with a 248 M engine. With tractor split, the throw out bearing slides just so far and then stops. Will not slide off the carrier like a newer Farmall will. Has anyone had experience with such a problem? Thank you in advance. Thought I would have my tractor back together and running this weekend. Frustration-Frustration Jim (563)583-3716
