Hi Bill, I have the 7.3 and it does the same thru the CAP (cold air package) or the engine pre-heating cycle that keeps the wastegate fully open until warm. The 6.0 works slightly different but close enough to be the same pain. Mine takes about 4 miles of driving before it has full power. Could you let the engine preheat for a couple minutes if you can't wait to get upto hi-way speeds? T_Bone
