There used to be a big rock on top of one of my hills on the farm. Awhile back it was removed. A few weeks ago I was digging around the hole, getting ready to fill it in with rocks. I found an old metal box buried beside where the rock was. Inside I found some old coins, an old wrench, a few other items and a couple letters written in German from the mid 1800's. These might have been from my Great-Great-Great Grandfather written to his son in the USA. Any idea how to get them translated? I THINK they might be in what was called "Low German".
