Every dog is has it's own personality :) I currently have three Dalmatians. Two are complete and utter couch potatoes, despite their reputation for being "high energy". Jake was my problem child before I found the right trainer (and a Halti halter collar!). I would've never called him hyper... But he was athletic (darn dog would jump into the back of pickup...with the tail gate up!). And very, very impulsive -- I'm going down the road one day, he jumped out the window to go chase a turkey in the woods. Now that Jake and I are both trained, he's soooo much more under control -- about the time he thinks about going to eat that Chihuaha, he just sighs and puts himself in a SIT because he knows I'll do it otherwise :)
