My experiences with purchases is that when you see it you had better plunk your money down; lest someone else does that while you are codgitating. The fact that the guy waits 10 days before reply correspondence puts me on alert. Could be someone who commercially buys tractors and doesn't care if he gets it or not. If that's the case, maybe it explains the delay. As stated, send no money back, and take the check to your bank and have your bank inform you when it has cleared the issuing agency. Then let the tractor go. I too have bought tractors on the web and have been satisfied......but when I see one I jump on it, I don't wait 10 days to start asking questions. Good luck, Mark
