yea with the trans in 5th gear there is about 1/16 to 1/8 inch untill its bottoms out against the drive shaft. now i can take i finger and lay it against the shifter it will pull tight against the drive shaft is there a detent to hold it in gear? i have hung up the shifter a few times could the shifter be worn enough to help cause this? i knew if i caught you Janicholson you could tell me something thank you again!
