Road Trip

This comming weekend I have to make a long road trip up to Effingham, IL to take the wife to a thing for her work. So I will be at the mercy of my 4 month old boy BY MYSELF either stuck sitting in a hotel room or goofing around somehow. I have never been to the area and was wondering if anyone here knew of anything around that I might kill some time looking at or exploring. Please Help Me........
