Yes, I aligned it and before bolting up the carb, I moved the throttle handle and watched the valve open and close. So, I would think that the alignment is correct as it seems like there is only one way it could go together. The throttle tang fits in the little opening on the carb shaft. It either goes in or it doesn"t. I may have rotated the shaft coming from the governor drive, but it doesn"t seem like that could make a difference. Maybe the float isn"t working right or I have it set too low. I guess I"ll drop the bowl and take a look at it tomorrow. I"ll try bending it a bit to get a little more depth in there. That"s about the only thing there is to adjust. It will kind of throttle up, but won"t go past a certain point or it will die. It won"t move the tractor on the higher throttle. When it has some load, it cuts out.
