I have 2 F-12's. I have removed the engine from one altogether for the ease of removing the crankshaft and connecting rods/pistons. I have taken the front end completely apart and the crank is loose there. My problem is in the rear (sort of like a major pain in the rear!). I have removed all of the clutch assembly up to the flywheel. The major problem seems to be COMPLETE removal of the rear main bearing. I can't get it out because of this stupid splash plate between it and the flywheel. You know, the plate that the oil pan seals against in the rear. I removed the two bolts on the crankcase side, thinking this would free it. But apparently there are two more bolts on the flywheel side, that I can't get to! What is the easiest way to get the crankshaft out?!?!? (step-by-step please, I am a bit slow I guess!) My goal is to remove the crankshaft, cam shaft, rods and caps and install in the other F-12 which has a better block and pistons. Thanks for any help anyone can provide. Mike in Arkansas
