Need advice: I purchased a restored C a couple months ago and I just got around to hooking up a 6ft. mower to it and trying to use it. After mowing around 1 acre in 60 degree weather, the radiator boils over. I was mowing in first gear, not lugging, and not tall grass. The tractor was not working very hard. Temp gauge doesn't work I found out. I'm new to Farmalls and this one doesn't have a water pump. Someone told me it's possible my radiator could be too full and the engine boils water to circulate. If it's too full it will boil it out to get equilibrium? I removed the radiator cap and the coolant was 230 degrees with a thermometer. Fan belt is tight and shutters are open. What do I do? Please advise. Thanks
