Depends.

Depends on how tight your pin is. Remove the bolted retainer on the front of the axle. Get the weight off your front axle, balance lifting it just till the pin has free-pin.

Use the retainer slot in the pin and pry the pin out. Insert a spacer behind your pry and pry again. Repeat this until the pin is out.

The axle has a bushing in it which is replaceable, however most likely at a machine shop or you must disassemble axle and use an arbor press. I did not replace mine.

With my build up, I had a tolorable (while just slightly loose) fit. When the tractor weight went back on it, it was good.

Thank for the reply. I am going to put this off for now. See my reply to capbuster. I printed your instructions for future reference. Thanks Don

Subject: Loader drive shaft.

You mentioned you replaced the loader drive shaft.

"It had the loader off because it had a broken shaft to the pump in front of the engine....I replaced the shaft and all was good."

I too have an old Wagner, but the splined shaft that came with mine is too short, is 10 teeth and the spline receiver on my front pulley is 6 teeth.

I definitely be interested in where you got this part.

I got the shaft at the New Holland dealer in Idaho Falls Id. It is 6 spline. They had 2 six spline shafts in stock. My shaft is 11 inches long. They had 13inch and shorter than 11. Sorry I don't remember but I think it was 9 inch. I cut down the 13 and had a friend mill a stot for a key. The part # was 194354. The damage was $22.42. They said this was a very common part so you should be able to get one locally. They also have agco parts but this is a NH number. If you do need to get them the phone # is 208-533-7291. I would run over and get you one but they are 100 miles from here. They will send me parts UPS so I guess they could send them anywhere. They were very helpfull and knoledgeable on the phone.

Good luck,Don

Thanks, Now, I went to our local NH dealer and there book did not even show 6 splines anymore. I may just call them and have them ship it to me.

Again, thanks. Happy Holidays.

Yes, Engine runs GREAT!

My clutch worked bad, intermittenly, then not at all, and after pulling, found an exploded drive disk on the dual clutch.

Dealers are proud of this part! For New Holland wanted $683

I used Gulf South, at about half the above price.

So, loader is a project away...
