I visited my local New Holland Dealer today.

Per the parts people there and the parts book, there is a number of different Ford Blues.

The parts book says the correct "Ford Blue" for ALL ford tactors (including Fordson's) is as follows:

year 1952 through 1962 (perhaps model year 1963?)

New Holland Part Number M1J1639SE2DS for quarts

New Holland Part Number M1J1639SE3DS for gallons

There is a different number shown for 1963 and newer into the mid 1970's

They did not have any in stock so I could not buy the color to check it's shade.

That colour you mention would be correct for E1A Major, Power Major and Super Major as well as Dexta and Super Dexta and is used with orange wheels. The later colour is correct for New Performance Super Major, New Performance Super Dexta with grey wheels and fenders as well as US Ford 5000 Super Major and Ford 3000 Super Dexta with grey wheels, hood and fenders.
