Your dealer should be able to get you reprints..

Yea, they're reprints of original, but for me they work swell.. Price is usually quite fair, and if I "soil" them up in the shop, well, no big deal, It isn't like I ruined the original..

A few I have bought:

John Deere 45 combine op manual.. $35 bucks or so.. (been A long while ago now though)

110 Garden tractor service manual $45 (about a year ago)

IH #80 pull type combine.. $20.. (long while ago)

Cub tractor OP manual.. $25 bucks (last week)

Cub service manual $65

AGCO

D-17 service book $35 (few years back now)

Massey self propelled picker op manual $15 (this past fall)

parts manual $35

I tend to prefer OEM repair manuals to the I/T books.. Alot more details in the OEM usually.. Although, usually only have 1 model per manual.

To me, these prices are pretty fair.. and I usually have em within a few days. I can't see paying high prices for originals.. Sometimes there's a deal on ebay, but this way is easier for me.. Call the respective dealer, tell them what I want, they call when it's in, I swing by and pick them up (along with other parts)..

All the dealers really aren't out of my way though.. The AGCO/IH dealer is in a town about 35 miles off, but it just so happens that my girlfriend lives 3 miles from it, so I pay over the phone, she swings in, picks it up, and brings stuff when she comes to visit.. Or sometimes, my high school friend (who works at the dealer) will bring stuff out to me and sit and visit a little bit.. Either way, it makes it really convenient for me LOL

Today's Featured Article - New Life for an Old Allis - by Tyler Woods. My friend Jon, has an old '39 Allis Chalmers B. He thought it a marginal tractor that had long since served its time. She smoked terribly and never had much power but he couldn't afford another so he was limping along with what he had. Jon's Allis has a small front loader and though it doesn't carry much, it serves his needs. It was the hard starting and low power that made him think it was time to replace the old girl. Jon called me to help him discover why his tractor wouldn't start ... [Read Article]
