I have a 1951 Cockshutt 30 that I bought and repainted. The man I bought it from said it ran when he parked it but now it will only start for about five seconds and rev up and thats all. It won't fire back up unless it sits a while likes its flooded but I dont know if it is or not. The only thing that has been done to the motor is I drained the oil and put in new oil and I cleaned the carburetor really good. I have also completely re-wired the tractor and put new plugs, points, condenser, coil, and spark plug wires on the tractor. The tractor has good 120 pounds of compression on all cylinders and has good spark.
