Lots of memories here. I'm 75 and NOT A STRANGER to these OLD 30's FORD TRUCKS. Thanks. Here's one of ours. Was a 1979 changed back to a 1977 body.2nd bed had only 1 gas door so we cut in the second door cause it has dual tanks. We re-upolstered the seat, to boot.I claim this as my Truck, although it is my Sons first truck. So much work, done to it couldn't begin to list it here without at least 4 full pages. lol.Only thing farmed out was the boiling out the block and heads re done. other then that, we did the rest, (father & Son Project W/daughter & Wife help)in about 8 months. Enjoyed the pictures of the Desoto. Had One (with fluid drive) Slipped something fierce. Sold it to a guy who added some type extention rod to the transmission, He drove it for at least 6 years. Purple velour interior. Beautiful car. Now I wonder where the Style went on these new pieces of plastic crap that has wheels . LOU.
