Just saw on espn that cubs legend Ron Santo has passed away. All of those days listening to ronny on the radio in the tractor as he would live and die with the cubbies were so enjoyable. Some of his calls are absolutely legendary. Then when things got a little slow or depressing he could bring some levity with a goofy story. You could feel his excitment and pain every day in every at bat every out of every game. No one has been a better ambassador of his team. Not to mention his devotion to the fight agains juvenile diabetes. So many good things could be said about #10 but words fail to really present the man as he was. It is a sad day for the land of cubbie blue. Ron Santo,#10, you will be missed. bill
