I heard a year or two ago that the average cost per worker in GM plants was close to $75.00 per hour.Half of the money was going to people who no longer worked there but retiered with huge pensions.I know of one person who worked there and was getting close to 40 bucks an hour,probably double what he was worth.I think unions stink.25 years ago my dad was working for a unionized company and the idiots there got paid the same as my dad.The forman some how managed to pay my dad more but it had to be under the table.
