We don't have any big snakes around here. Had a five foot bull snake hanging out of a bale when we were baling along a creek years ago but other than that garters are all I ever see. Last summer we had a little garter snake living in the basememt. The first couple of times I saw it I'd catch it and throw it out the door but in a couple of days it'd be back so we decided to let it stay as it did clean up the crickets. About once a week it'd find it's way upstairs and I'd haul it back down to the basement. Marilyn would tolerate it but she would never catch it to take it back downstairs. It disappeared in the fall, never to be seen again. Jim
