I have 100 acres to cut yet of first. Forecast is calling for rain all next week. Oh well I guess the cows are going to get to eat some stemmy hay this winter if the weather ever turns. No use cutting it if I have no chance of baling it. Looking back at my calendars for 20 years or so and the latest I ever baled first crop was July 5, gonna break that record this year I'am afraid. He can't run trucks in the fields and tractors pulling wagons are even leaving ruts. I kinda hinted maybe I should have him chop some of mine and he said don't even ask.
