I go along with the others, depending on how well you are with mechanical ability, space and what are you using it for? I prefer something with at least 35 h.p. and a wide front end if using for even the lightest workings I will recomend getting one with a 3 point hitch. I have been using farmall's, allis chalmers, and fergusons, the ferguson is the only one with a 3pt.hitch and after sitting for nearly 2years of not running it was slightly stuck and I am using $300 for an head rebuiding. If you are not mechanicaly inclined buy NEW or close to it. I would still recomend you getting a machine with a 3point hitch and domestic rather than imported because of parts you will surely need in the future.
