75 bucks for a 3 bottom JD plow is a bargain if it is in useable shape. It's very true you can spend serious money on any old plow but the more complete the plow is the better because you can replace worn parts as the need increases, depending on how much you're going to use the plow. Try to get a set of coulters for sure and check all the linkages for wear. And it's nice if the moldboards aren't all worn out(not worn all away at the outer ends). Points, shins, and landsides aren't cheap but not as bad as moldboards. Special stuff like Lantz coulters and coverboards are nice but you don't have to have them to do a decent plowing job on average sod or stubble ground. Any 3 bottom is an easy pull for an average 3020, and there are some out there.
