I really can not help you with one brand over the other, and I suppose that you must want a portable unit instead of an electric one, however the one most important lesson I had to learn over the years, of buying several compressors, is proper C F M . Gallons of tank space, and high PSI, can not provide the amount of air, that I was looking for. I got tired of waiting for air to build up, so I could go back to work. When I finally bit the bullet, and bought a 27 CFM unit, I found that I had enough air to run my tools, without waiting for air. I actually hooked a large 1000 gal, home propane tank, to an 11 CFM craftsman compressor, trying to run a 7" air sander, and still ended up waiting for air. Nothing replaces adequate CFM.
