At some point very soon, people are going to have to stand up to the government and tell them NO, enough is enough with the mandates. If it continues, no telling where it will end. Maybe a grandmother will be arrested for smoking while pregnant and her great granddaughter will have some weird birth defect that supposedly can be traced back to that. Animal health is important to keep the herd healthy, but mandated and reporting those who cannot afford expensive treatments is going way too far. Not everyone has deep pockets like the government that can just tax us when they get low on money. Vet care is very expensive and unlike human health care, there is no insurance that i'm aware of to foot the major bills. IMO, it's more whining from the PETA folks that apparently have nothing else to do than harass others.
