It relates to solar sunspot cycles. The solar minimum that we are in is apparently deeper than anything ever recorded, possibly even quieter than during the Maunder Minimum (the little ice age). Since scientists have said that the sky is falling twice now (ice age in the 70's and now global warming ) I don't think that anyone will take this seriously. But the sun doesn't give a hoot whether we believe or not. You can feel the consequence by sticking your head out the door. We could be heading for a deep cool spell which lasts for decades. Why this has not been on the news is bewildering to me. Credible scientists already know what is going on and could ably explain it. Meanwhile, they want to cripple our own economy with cap and trade etc.
