if its a cummins 6 cyl. there should be a tag up by the pump drive that has the cpl number, hp rating, rpms, and los of other info including serial no. if that is gone ther should be a cpl number on the pump. it should be a 3 digit number. a v8 would also have a tag like that, but i dont know where. but the pump would still have a number on it.
