I wonder if anyone out there has had a problem such as mine and was able to come up with a good solution! My john Deere 510 diesel has a banjo type connection on the fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump.It was leaking so I tried to tighten it a bit more and the thread chewed out of the aluminum casting. Not my day! Can helicore threads be used here,or some other method to create a new thread? PS my first thought,I bought a new fuel pump but with the loader on and the fuel pump bolts being very inexcessible,I canniot get the old one off! It seems like there is not room to get a socket on the bolt head being very close to the casting! Help! Thanks in advance!
