Cessna hydraulic pumps, made by the hydraulic division of Cessna aircraft, is an aluminum pump, with bronze bushings, or sometimes NO bushings, and the shafts run on a hardened aluminum surface. I myself would consider them a "throw away" pump, though somewhere, someplace, there"s probobly a dealer that would sell parts and assure you that it"s rebuildable. Lotsa luck! generally these pumps start to have bearing wear, or internal wear caused by dirty oil, /// do you have an inlet suction screen, and a return line filter? as the bearing wear increases the gears are thrown, by the output pressure, against the input side of the pump, and tend to undercut the case. eventually they will still "paddle"or move some volume of oil but can"t achieve pressure, due to the internal wear on the pump. Repairable, by replacing bushings, undercut casing, and gears, if tips are cut and worn, and wear plates, if present, and seals. If you can get parts, it will cost more as individual pieces, than a new pump--don"t forget labor--hence the term: "Throw-away-pump"
