I had my right knee done in October of 2007. I was 37. I went into surgury at 3pm, was in a room at 7pm and was walking on it at 9pm with a walker. I used a walker the first day, one crutch the second and a cane thereafter for about a month. I could walk without the cane after about a week, but the therapist said to use it anyways so I could learn to walk without limping. Big thing is do your exercises and PT. One week after I had it done I was on the M, two weeks after I helped the vet castrate calves, five weeks after I went bowling. Now I can even run on it if I really want to. I would definitly do it again. I never looked back and said why did I do that. Now no one can tell there was ever anything wrong, and I limped quite bad for over fifteen years. Good luck, everything will turn out fine.
