Wood shavings are going for $1,600 per trailer load for chicken house bedding today. Indepandant truck drivers for the wood Ind. shut their rigs down back in August. Getting harder to keep a fresh supply of pine logs to run a mill now. Plant log piles are very low for the time of the year.
