What really cheeses me off is the fact that HSUS, the Humane Society of the United States, is a larger and better run organization than PETA yet since they have a very similar name to the REAL Humane Society we all equate with puppies and kittens they have instant credibility, especially with school kids and older folks. In fact, they do a lot of telemarketing asking for donations and the typical grandmother-type that donates likely thinks they are saving a dog or cat with their $, not shutting down livestock operations or protesting in DC.
