Doug willys farm jeeps were built from 1945 and later.the first models were cj2a's (civilian jeep)I believe the true farm jeep did not have headlites otherwise the same as the standard cj2a.in 1949 came the cj3a, 1953 the cj3b, and 1955 the cj5. all willys cj's and pickup trucks could be outfitted with 3-point hitches, pto with standard 6 spline and a belt pulley adapter witch was rated at 33hp on the cj2a. also a 7 position govoner was mounted on the engine to componsate for pto load. The 3-point was not draft sensitive and either had an engine mounted hyd pump or a hand pump mounted between the front seats, bolth featured power down. there were several 3pt. lifts the monroe being the most common and also the standard willys model it mounted in the back with the tailgate removed. The acessories for the jeep are not extremely rare but are more uncommon than common and most people that have them don't know what thay have, a complete monroe lift alone is worth around 1000.00, the complete pto setup with the 7 speed govoner around 500.00 also there was a 265lb front counterweight available. I hope this info helps you out. Lee

Today's Featured Article - New Life for an Old Allis - by Tyler Woods. My friend Jon, has an old '39 Allis Chalmers B. He thought it a marginal tractor that had long since served its time. She smoked terribly and never had much power but he couldn't afford another so he was limping along with what he had. Jon's Allis has a small front loader and though it doesn't carry much, it serves his needs. It was the hard starting and low power that made him think it was time to replace the old girl. Jon called me to help him discover why his tractor wouldn't start ... [Read Article]
