We had lots of trouble a few years back, missing about 95% of knots - had son riding on the back of baler hand tieing. Ran out of that ball of twine, and it went to 95% or better good ties on next ball. Ever since then I have been suspicious of twine quality. I think the twine we've been getting lately has been far poorer quality than the old stuff. Got a several bundles this spring that were in discolored bags - probably last season's, stored in a damp warehouse. Tried one, took others back, made them give me ones from new shipment. PS: I didn't buy that baler - bought a NH, and have had much better baling success.
