Sometimes you can get them out using a sharp chisel to work them out if they aren't frozen too bad, using the chisel on an angle tap on the top in the direction to loosen it. Have used an electric welder to build up a new "head" and bring them out this way. The drilling out method works good too, especially if you can hang an EZE out in it.
