jakee I hope all's well, long time no see.
Ever body who bought a N series ford still needed somebody to break his ground for him. If you watered the tires so it would'nt spin the thing would'nt pull the plow anyway. I saw where somebody on here said he pulls a 3 bottom plow and a 12 foot tandem disc with his 8N. I would have to see that to believe it.
Yep I like a Farmall too. I bought the last pickup IH had in our area. I can't remember but I think it was a 75 model. I would like to find a wide frontend M to pull my round baler, but they're scarce around here.
They got JD here for us too, but they're too danged high and the tranny is a poor set up. The clutches go out in the thing regular and it cost an arm and leg to get them fixed. On this 4840 they got here the front axle keeps wearing out the pivot bushing and wallowing the axle out then.
It's too heavy for the two little pivots.
This one danged sure don't get good fuel mileage.

And I think Dad was ready for some automation too. And so it was that we acquired a good, used J. I. Case, wire tie hay baler. In addition to a person to drive th ... [Read Article]
