I never saw an accident with farm equipment where the injured person was'nt doing some thing wrong. Most folks round here take off the pto safety guards and any safety chains or bars cause they're in the way. I've seen roll overs, turn overs, eyes knocked out and punched out, and arms and legs pulled off not cut off, and I saw a man loose an arm in a hammermill once. I've never seen any of that happen to people who were following the safety guide lines. Some of them were hobby farming on the week end and were intoxicated. My boys always thought I was mother henning them on this junk, but we all still have our limbs and lives. When I see this equipment here being operated wrong I go and immediately send whoever it is home at least for the day.
