I am in the process of rebuilding the steering on my Super A. I would highly recomend replacing anything that had the slightest sign of wear.
When I took mine apart water ran out of the steering box. I couldn't figure it out at first, but I am sure who ever had it before me left it out in the rain and water ran down the steering shaft, past the wore out seal and into the box. So far I am replacing the worm gear, shaft and nut, woodruff keys, gasket, seal, bearings and bushings. It took me 4 hours to get it all apart, I don't want to have to do it again anytime soon.
