I am a firm believer in those that can witch water. I know several, and they are generally laid back, relaxed people. I"ve tried their methods, with wires, etc., but I"m too nervous, high strung, whatever, to do it. But I"ve seen people mark the water lines on our farm, never having set foot on the farm before. Some well drillers around here rely on them as well, others do not. Our well is 212 feet deep, non-believer well driller set the pump at 5 gpm, afraid of pumping sediment- so the cows were always lacking . My son, when he set up his place a quarter mile away, had his witched by the well driller. 75 foot well pumps 35 gpm.
