Calculate it like this. Measure bore and stroke of cylinder on the trailer. Calculate cylinder volume(dia/2 squared x stroke) Most hand pumps have a volume per stroke marked on them or in the literature for the pump. If not you may get it from the manufacturer. Divide cylinder volume by volume per stroke, this will give you the number of strokes required. Actual may be a little more due to pump efficiency, etc. Hope you can understand the volume formula-I don't know how to write it on a computer. Of course if you ahve a two stage pump this calculation won't work very well. Good luck, Paul
