You've gotta know Don,one of those days after you get the bagger is going to go like today did for me. Luckily I didn't set too high of a goal, just wanted to chop the last 5 loads of corn where I was chopping and get things moved to the next field.Figured anything else was gravy. I thought I had enough fuel to finish when I quit last nite, but the first load I could see that wasn't gonna happen. So,I took the load home behind the tractor and chopper, filled up,relaoded the grease gun that had run out before i was done using it,unloaded and went back. I got half way across the field and blew a steel hydraulic line on the chopper. The header was down against the stop,so I kept going. Halfway back up the other side,a chain broke that's about impossible to get to with the header down. I did get done and get to the next field like I wanted too,but I'd have sure been disapointed if I'd been up against the clock on anything.
