The name coflyboy doesn't work any more, so I am using Coloflyboy until I can figure out what happened to the old one. Question- I have a old hoist platform rescued from a garage that went out of business. It's the old type that consisted of 2 ramps on which cars/trucks drove to be lifted on the hydraulic hoist. I want to make a tractor trailer out of that hoist but don't know how to compute the load the platform will hold. Can any of you smart guys out there tell me how to determine the safe carrying capacity of that platform?
