O.K., I took some photos of my governor and bad seal to help explain things; the first shot shows the front casting with the seal removed,[IMG]http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o201/marmer_photos/Front_casting.jpg[/IMG] and the second shows the damaged seal where it fits on the casting.[IMG]http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o201/marmer_photos/Bad_sealfront_casting.jpg[/IMG] The O.D. of the seal measures 35mm/1.378" with my calipers, is approx. 6.42mm/.253" wide, and the hub of the pulley that goes through it measures 22mm, or .866". I'll be looking around for a replacement, but sure would like to hear from anyone who has already had luck finding a source... Thanks!
