Large pump or the little fist sized model CB pump? When you say you can get fuel to come out the return line, do you mean by pumping the lift pump or by cranking the engine over. If the large pump,pull the timing cover off and turn the engine over to see if the goverenor weight retainer is moving(you should see the timing mark come around.).If you see no movement,you probably have twisted off a pump shaft. If the pump didn't have injector oil or a very high grade of diesel fuel in it and sat for that long, there is a very good chance the rotor locked up.I hope I am wrong.bob
