Hey guys, just called the phone company today to upgrade to DSL and finally get rid of this slooooow dialup connection. In the process I discovered they had made some changes in their calling plans. Long story short I got way more features on both my lines than I ever had or will ever use, and in the process the bill dropped by $11. The to top it off by getting the "extra features" it turned it into a "bundled" service which dropped the standard price of the DSL by $5. In the end I wind up with extra phone features, and a DSL connection for only $4 a month more than I'm paying now. So, my point is the phone companies are always changing their service plans and nowdays are getting cheaper and adding features to keep up with the wireless carriers. Thing is they aren't gonna call you to tell you the've got a better, as well as cheaper, plan and they can't legally change you to the better plan without your say so. So if you haven't called your phone carrier lately give them a call, it might save you some money. By the way my service is through CTC. Hopefully this will save some of ya'll a little cash each month. I know every little bit helps.

Jon called me to help him discover why his tractor wouldn't start
