EQIP is "Enviromental Quality Incentives Program". One my EQIP Eligible Practice List there are 68 different prac tices you can do to qualify. The more you do the better the chances of your plan being accepted. It is not just no till. Everything from low pressure irrigation conversion, fencing off areas, min till, cover crop, etc , etc. The one thing that is mandatory is that you have to do something different than you are doing now, that has a positive impact on eniroment, soil conservation etc. I posted a likk with some info. For me I was planning on Min or no till, manure management, residue management, and countour planting the feild around the pond. Its a good program. Each practice has its own $/term/acre amount.
