CPA friend of mine advises to NEVER take the lump sum. 99.9% are lousy money managers. Pay check weekly and waiting for the next check know anyone like that? The yearly pay out allows that group to be lousy 20 times. Most who take the really big pay day end up broke in a 1 to 2 year time frame. Anyone know the big Missouri winners? Getting hit by lighting is about 1 in 600,000 and the lotto is about about one in 75 million. Better stay in doors. Have 4 whole dollars on the game. Nothing wrong with new things and taking care of the kids.
