Hey 47, I've been 4 wheeling and trail guiding for years and from what I've seen it does'nt matter how the Jeep is built up it all boils down to tire height. Now take a two wheel drive tractor and put tires on it 2 or 3 times the height of your jeep mud tires and the tractor will out perform without chains. Maybe if you were backing up hill, out of a ditch the 4x4 may have an advantage. My neibors got a small Yanmar 4X4 tractor and my 2 wheel drive 8N with taller tires, had to pull him out of the snow. You know I loved that! I did,t even think of using my Jeep.
