Aloha, I inquired about that governor a while ago and the sales person said that it needed to bolted to the engine so it can be fed oil for lubrication from the front. I would imagine that it could be modified by covering it with a plate and some sort of oil seal. You also would have to devise a way to attach the pulley because it looks like it has splines on the shaft. Hope this helps. Mahalo, doogdoog
