"Buffs" are tires that have had all of the maker's logos an identifying marks sanded off. Many times this is done by the factory or a distributor on tires that are just too good to destroy, but they don't want nobody ever expecting any warranty on em either. SOMETIMES tires are buffed cause a feller knows he bought a truck load of "hot" tires an he don't want em identified. Blems are tires with cosmetic defects that can usually be bought at one price with a factory waranty or at a lower price with no waranty. Buffs are a step or two down scale from blems. Personally, I figger if you're ashamed to leave yore name on it then I don't want it. Don't nuthin bout TireTown but where they gone be if you buy problems from em?
