My family has the task of cleaning out my grandparents house pretty soon, theirs isn't going to be quite as bad as the one you describe, but they did have quite a bit of accumulation, especially the upstairs floor of the house and in their old barn, but I know there isn't much thats going to be new and unused. The good news is, probably 90% of whats in the barn is pure junk, so sorting and getting getting rid of that stuff will be easy but the rest of it?. Thought about getting an auctioneer, but about the only fellow who does estate auctions around here pratically gives everything away at his auctions, he never gets good prices so possibly we might go the huge lawnsale route.
