Bore da; Stopped raining at last so I took "her indoors" out for the day! This view shows Fishguard & Goodwick harbour 3 miles west of us. The old fort with cannons was built in the 1700's as coastal defence. Today this is one of the main ferry ports accross to Rosslare in mid-Southern Ireland, approx 47 miles. The large sea ferry in the background takes 3.5 hours to cross, and holds cars & trucks. The small hydrofoil ferry takes cars & people only and takes 1.5 hours but can only operate in fine calm weather. Cheers David
